More from Powerline

Along with the book "compression", we have the out and out falsehoods that come from the president's mouth.  Reported by John Hinderaker comes this tale:
Barack Obama never lets truth get in the way of political advantage. Nothing new about that; mendacity has been a consistent theme of his 3 1/2 years in office. But it seems that more media outlets are willing to call the president on his falsehoods these days. Like, for example, Glenn Kessler of the Washington Post, who yesterday assigned Obama four Pinocchios–”whopper,” the worst possible designation–for his lies about infrastructure projects. Here is the tale as Obama told it to the Building and Construction Trades Department conference.
John concludes with:
So once again, Obama was simply lying. Sure, many politicians have been willing to stretch the truth to get re-elected. But for flat-out misrepresentations, I can’t recall one who can equal Obama.
Nor can I.  Read the whole Powerline story HERE.
