Photo ID requirement = Racist??

One of the great hypocrisies of the Obama administration (and there are so many to choose from ) is that the Department of Justice requires presentation of photo ID to enter their building in Washington DC, while at the same time declaring that laws requiring photo ID for voting are discriminatory.  Really?

John Hinderaker at Powerline shares a new photo ID requirement:

Here is one more item to add to the list: you can’t get Michelle Obama to autograph her book without “an official photo ID (driver’s license, passport).” So I guess Michelle must be a racist.

Growing up, Thanksgiving dinner at Grandma's meant that there was the adult's table and the children's table.  We have a similar theme with the Obama's.

A new video ad was released touting the latest contest to spend time with The One.  Can one say unctuous?  Even Juan Williams slammed it on Fox News Sunday.

“That was hilarious. That looks like a parody. It looked like the Romney Campaign planted Dr. Evil in the House of Obama. And, he said, you know, on the day the grim job numbers come out, let’s have someone who reeks of ornamental excess announce that the peasants can have a place at the table. It’s just unbelievable.”

For those with a strong stomach, here's the Obama ad.  Sure makes me want to spend an evening with these folks.  I'd better be sure to have my invitation in hand or I'll be shunted off to the servant's entrance.



And that Obama 2012 scarf!!  To say nothing about that hip, urbane introduction.  Nothing flyover here, you hayseeds.

You see....they are better than the rest of us.  And they'll show their compassion by sharing some bread with you.

Where are the loyalties?

What matters isn’t so much where the Manchurian Moonbat was born, but where his loyalties lie. The Bitter Half confirms that his “home country” is not the USA.

Whether or not The One was born in Kenya or Hawaii or who know where, the one thing clear is that he does not believe in America, nor is America in his heart and soul.  And Mooshelle agrees.

By now the Chronicle of Higher Education’s craven capitulation in re: the matter of Naomi Schaffer Riley’s criticism of black studies is widely known, and needs little additional commentary here.  But since the subject of identity scholarship is briefly in the news again—where the mongers of identity politics don’t want it to be, except when they do—we might as well include some excerpts from one notable entry in the field:

My experiences at Princeton have made me far more aware of my “Blackness” than ever before.  I have found that at Princeton no matter how liberal and open-minded some of my White professors and classmates try to be toward me, I sometimes feel like a visitor on campus; as if I really don’t belong.  Regardless of the circumstances underwhich [sic] I interact with Whites at Princeton, it often seems as if, to them, I will always be Black first and a student second.

These experiences have made it apparent to me that the path I have chosen to follow by attending Princeton will likely lead to my further integration and/or assimilation into a White cultural and social structure that will only allow me to remain on the periphery of society; never becoming a full participant.  This realization has presently, made my goals to actively utilize my resources to benefit the Black community more desirable.
